Please come join us for a wonderful four days of enlightening messages, encouraging fellowship, and simple Amish hospitality. Our campmeetings are for all ages and all walks of life; you don't need to be Amish to attend. If you are searching for a closer walk with God, you are invited! Speakers 2021

JOHN BRADSHAW
Speaker/Director for It Is Written
Pastor John Bradshaw is the president of It Is Written. A former radio broadcaster, he became a Christian as a young adult, and served as an evangelist and church pastor before joining It Is Written in January of 2011. He has held more than 100 evangelistic series, sharing God’s word on six continents.

JOHN BAXTER
Adventist Frontier Mission
While working for a large bank in New York City, John‘s life was transformed and lifted from the confusion of drugs, alcohol and demon possession into the freedom and joy of a life in Christ. He and his wife served in India as church-planting missionaries and later as Bible instructors for the General Conference. For the past several years John has served in different leadership positions at AFM. John shares the love of God and His call to missions across the United States at churches, schools, conventions, camp-meetings and in various media outlets.

Helpful Information

Who Can Come?

Our campmeeting is for all ages and all walks of life. If you desire a closer relationship with God then you are invited!

Cost

West Salem Mission Campmeeting is free! Generous donors have agreed to cover the cost for campmeeting so that all may attend.

Camping

Tent camping sites are available on the back side of the pond, in the woods, and along tree lines. We do not have any water or electric hookups.

Hotel Accommodations

The nearest hotels are in Ashland, Ohio, which is about 15 minutes southwest of West Salem. Super 8 Motel is close to I-71 and has good rates. Medina is 30 minutes northeast, Wooster is 30 minutes southeast. 

Meals

  • Meals are provided free of charge. Donation buckets will be on-site for those who wish to contribute.

  • Breakfast, lunch, and supper will be provided.

  • Meals are vegan.

Bathrooms and Shower

Bathrooms are available at the porta-johns and in the church. Campers are allowed to use the shower in the lodging house.

Quiet Time

We ask that the premises be quiet after 10:00 p.m. in consideration of our campers.

Air-conditioning

It can get quite hot here in Ohio. If you need a place to cool off please feel free to sit in our air-conditioned church fellowship hall or foyer. We want you to be comfortable.

Modesty

According to the culture, we would appreciate modesty.
